An everyday battle  converts the route of Anthi to and from the University of Macedonia, from her home in the area of Acheiropoiitos, in the center of Thessaloniki.

The 20-year-old Florina student is locked in a wheelchair because of her muscular atrophy and besides her health problem she is faced with excess courage she is experiencing a lack of basic facilities for people with mobility problems.

“Battle” the move to university

Her move to the University of Macedonia turns daily into a battle, an exercise on ruined sidewalks, ill-fated disabled ramps, potholes and cars.

It begins its route if weather conditions allow it with the wheelchair to cross the route from Ag. Wisdom to the University.

“I usually choose the right side of Egnatia as it has fewer obstacles and is more accessible,” he tells Radio Thessaloniki.

In an effort to demonstrate the struggle of Anthi and all people with mobility difficulties, we made the journey with her recording frame by frame all that the sailors are passing by.
